gonna need some specs to see iof there is a issue really ...
but a fair guess is that 7d2d more taxing on your hardware then the * other games * you play
we have so little info here to work with.
btw - it's normal for fans to run in your computer. For example the cpu cooling fan and PSU fan will run pretty much all the time. CPU and GPU fan will cycle up and down depending on load. What you may be hearing is simply a fan stepping up from 900 rpm to 1200rpm while a game is running. Which is as normal as apple pie.
Trying to take off................
And he think he`s a Toaster...........
And no, it isnt a Potato, I9, 32gb, RTX 3060
Like the TE said, only 7d2d cause this...
windows 10 64 bit
intel core I7-8700 cpu @ 3.20 GHz, 3192 Mhz, 6 core, 12 logical processor
RAM - 48GB
Nvidia Ge Force GTX 1080
Without limiting the GPU always wants to run full throttle even in the pause screen for some reason.
I have a i7 13700K (I9 is very little information, could be 5 CPUs starting from the I9 9900 up to the I9 13900), 32GB Ram and RX6600XT, fans ramp up at hordenight with 64 zombies or big wandering hordes. That´s about it.
This Setup should not have a Problem with this Game...................
No other Game cause a behavior like this...
I can play it even if the computer gets hot, it stays within limits but the TE is not the only one who notices this.
The other thing to bear in mind is that a PC isn't just a CPU and GPU in isolation, you say your setup shouldn't have any problems but that is a pretty meaningless statement: Is your case well ventilated enough? How many (if any) case fans do you run? The 10900K is a well-known space heater so if overall cooling isn't up to scratch, you will never get the full potential out of it, and in extreme situations can even shorten component life. And finally, what CPU cooling solution is in use?
CPU is liquidcooling but what i say, CPU seems not the Problem, the GPU heats up..........
I play VR over PC and any other Games, on high and what ever Settings (with TV or YT at the second Monitore, TS, whatever...), and no other Game cause that Heat and Fan blowing.......
A quick google suggests that a 3060 can happily run at 93c without throttling, are you getting anywhere near that?
To be clear, I wasn't asking how well your PC scores in benchmarks, I was asking if under those synthetic loads the temperature also goes up or not. A "high-performance" system isn't worth much if it isn't stable, if you weren't aware a lot of nVidia cards cannot use their full fan speeds from the factory, use AfterBurner to check and see for yours. Beyond that, run some stress tests to map your temps. Sometimes cards aren't pasted properly, rare but it does happen.
We may discuss many Things, if you see what Steam says about the average Players, my specs are way over it and i should play it with no Limits.
Don't know what the problem is but it shouldn't be a problem with this Hardware....
The Steam survey is unimportant here. I have a 3060 myself and it doesn't get anywhere near that hot. Temps that high are not normal, so either accept that your setup isn't as UBER as you seem to think and needs attention/troubleshooting, or keep kidding yourself that everything's fine. I posted some things you can try, maybe try them.
