Around 2-5min gameplay and crash. It runs very smooth, my system chills around 50% usage. no problem.

The same thing happens to me playing well and suddenly the CPU usage increases to 90%-95% or it directly slows down and the computer crashes

First of all, I'd suggest making SURE you have a 'Clean' install of 7d2d...

Right click the game in steam library and choose properties. In the properties window, you can go down to the 'Beta's tab. This is where you have to opt into the experimental version. A21 is still in experimental so, there is no 'Stable' version to choose here for it... yet. (OR WHICHEVER VERSION YOU WANT) Now that you've done that, you need to uninstall 7d2d. To do this properly, you want to do what's called a 'complete' uninstall. This means you use windows file explorer to sift through your systems directories and delete out all the folders / files that get left on your system after the uninstall.

There's 3 places you need to delete folders for 7d2d. You need to have 'view--options' set to 'Show hidden files and folders' first though. Or else, you will not see the users 'Appdata' folder. You'll want to delete the 7d2d folders and the 'The Fun Pimps' folders. They are in;
C:\users\ your user name \Appdata\LocalLow\...
C:\users\ your user name \Appdata\Roaming\...
and
C:\Program Files(x86) \Steam\Steamapps\Common\...
After you've deleted those 7d2d folders (and the TFP folder) you'll want to restart the PC. This is just for good measure to be sure the Windows Registry data gets saved.

Now, you can open steam and install 7d2d. It should be installing the latest A21 experimental (or whichever version you opted for.) After it's done, you'll open the properties window again and do the 'verify files' option. This is assuming ofc, that you had already set the games exe's into your Anti-Virus / Windows Security 'Exceptions' list. If you hadn't done that previously, do it now. Then run the 'verify files' option.

Finally, you can run the 7d2d launcher.exe, switch to 'tools' tab, click 'clean....' option and select ALL the checkboxes to clean all the old data. This will reset data in Windows Registry so it's correct with your current install of 7d2d--something you should do after installing new versions or uninstalling / re-installing. Switch back to main tab, disable EAC + Analytics, and then click 'Run and save...' Congratulations! You should be running a 'clean' install of 7d2d. Don't forget to optimize your graphics settings. Enjoy!

NOW... for performance / crash issues...

Need to be sure you don't have Windows Power profile set to anything that would lower power to things like CPU, GPU, and / or NIC. Usually, setting the windows power profile to 'high performance' takes care of that. But, for the NIC, you need to go into Network settings and open the Network adapter properties. There's some settings in the driver like 'Green Ethernet' or other similar things that maybe trying to lower power usage of the NIC. Disable those features. Same in gpu control panel. Set power saving to prefer maximum performance.

Then there's background tasks. Use Task Manager to find out which other processes maybe running that don't need to be. Aside from Windows Update (changing schedule to when NOT playing) and Anti-Virus--being sure games exe's are in Exceptions list--you don't want unnecessary services / apps running while trying to play 7d2d. So, look through the list and do a web search on whichever process you may suspect. Especially if you have a PC that was pre-built by a store. There's likely to be a bunch of garbage apps on there that you don't need running.

Finally, there's hardware issues. Things like; incorrect settings in Bios, heat issues due to improper cleaning, fan placement (or lack of fans), or faulty fans, and corrupted drivers. Be sure all these things are checked. With GPU drivers, it's not uncommon that a Windows update can corrupt a driver OR that doing an express update to a gpu driver causes corruption. Sometimes it's not even very noticeable--just causing a little performance trouble. So, download the latest driver(s) for anything you suspect and uninstall the current driver(s). Then run the installation for the new driver. Restart the PC and test.
