The game was defiantly more interesting in the earlier alphas where the forge was a day 22 to 50 thing, and not a horde-night 1 thing.
So if this is really back that would be a nice heads up.
First random gen put my trader 3.3K away from my spawn. Wandered through the terrain with no town in sight. Just the occasional POI I had to scrounge through hoping for supplies.
Wandered into my trader's town 2 days later hungry, thirsty, broke, and no cook pot. I definitely missed the early game struggles that have been absent for too many Alphas.
Thanks TFP Dev's
Survived my first horde night with just my bow and knife as I went Agility build. Now I have 2 dew collectors, my forge, and starting to work on getting my base upgraded as I'm using the Industrial Tanks for my horde base.
Maybe the game just doesn't like you.
I'm on day 8 currently with 32/75 Workstations and still with just the 1 point into Advanced Eng...
Put 1 point and check mail boxes and especially if you find a Crack-A-Book store you should be fine.
Please devs, make the game even more hard and "unfair". There is no point to play if you are done with the game before even the first blood moon.
