You cannot suspend your belief to embrace not having glass jars
You can suspend your belief to cram a several hundred pound gyrocopter in your backpack and place it down anywhere you like.
I can put countless other things in the "can" column as well. Your character lives in a fantasy world where you can add points to your brain and as a result of said points you suddenly can fall from 100m without taking damage.
But you cant deal with not having glass jars. A strange stance. Immersion... lmfao
Splittin ye ole hairs.
And since, no one in the playing audience has yet to play alpha 21, the change in jars related to game play is largely unknowable.
As I understand it (and believe me, I have been wrong before) getting rid of empty jars may well be a strategy to more efficiently manage system resources.
To your desire for golf clubs, several people over many alphas have requested somewhat similar options. There are already clubs in the game, adding another club would likely be considered redundant. As was the argument against adding another type of blade weapon.
Now let me cook up this soup and pour it into my pockets because bowls don't exist. I'd pour it directly into my backpack but that is where I keep my jeep and 50 tons of concrete blocks and I don't want to get soup all over them.
I've seen this argument a few times and it is flat out dumb. To make your argument work I should be able to approach the river reach down and BOOM... I have 20 filled murky water bottles.
Oil, Gas, etc, the container magically appears when you get the item... You go to a car and siphon the gas the game assumes there are so many containers lying around that you can find something to pu the gas in. Or are you imagining that every car has a filled portable gascan in the trunk of it?
The water change says "yes there are plenty of containers round but you can't put water in any of them".
Make a backup.
And then...
Wait and try the update when it's released and decide then if you like it.
Like it, cool. No further work needed.
Don't like it, then you can play the previous version, or mod the stuff you like/dislike in and out.
