Leave glass jars IN THE GAME! would you kindly.
when you remove glass jars you fix what you say is a problem and create a TONE more problems for people. let me explain.

like when some use tons of explosive arrows on horde night. that's a tone of glue but me ill use shotgun, M60, handgun and if i need ill use grenades with tons of ammo or multiple blade traps.

My play style and some one else s are 2 different things. you should never knee cap or pull a Shane Otis thing to try and solve one problem only to create many more.

one thing about glass jars they should be harder to craft like make them a in the forge where they require more and and metal for the lids after all what idiot in a a zombie outbreak would just toss away a good jar they can use for water!? or even use tin cans to have water in that is part of the world or the STORY IMMERSION if you REMOVE THE GLASS JARS YOU KILL IMMERSION!!!

PS would you kindly add golf clubs to the game?

we have absolutely no clue how a21 is going to play out. Stop chicken littling things.

They seem to be aware of the potential issue with glue. It's also not the first time it's been brought up so rest assured things will likely be balanced around the new scarcity. If not, modders will tweak it to their liking.

Splitting hairs!

You cannot suspend your belief to embrace not having glass jars
You can suspend your belief to cram a several hundred pound gyrocopter in your backpack and place it down anywhere you like.

I can put countless other things in the "can" column as well. Your character lives in a fantasy world where you can add points to your brain and as a result of said points you suddenly can fall from 100m without taking damage.

But you cant deal with not having glass jars. A strange stance. Immersion... lmfao

Splittin ye ole hairs.

The jars are already changed. And for the near future, they are not coming back, in the way you seem to want. Jars are still there, however, just not empty jars. In much the same way that gas cans, bottles of oil and jugs of acid are available. Make oil from shale, blammo the bottle is there. But there are no empty bottles that held oil. And the game with that dynamic already in place, it seems no one was concerned.

And since, no one in the playing audience has yet to play alpha 21, the change in jars related to game play is largely unknowable.

As I understand it (and believe me, I have been wrong before) getting rid of empty jars may well be a strategy to more efficiently manage system resources.

To your desire for golf clubs, several people over many alphas have requested somewhat similar options. There are already clubs in the game, adding another club would likely be considered redundant. As was the argument against adding another type of blade weapon.

Perhaps the best way to manage system resources is to get rid of the search option. It is apparent no one uses it.

This is why I like mods granted if the mod I use nics the jars as well then so be it. There will be changes to other items to make things work, not sure how it would be a problem as long as every thing else still works.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Yes, it absolutely breaks immersion.

Now let me cook up this soup and pour it into my pockets because bowls don't exist. I'd pour it directly into my backpack but that is where I keep my jeep and 50 tons of concrete blocks and I don't want to get soup all over them.

I've seen this argument a few times and it is flat out dumb. To make your argument work I should be able to approach the river reach down and BOOM... I have 20 filled murky water bottles.

Oil, Gas, etc, the container magically appears when you get the item... You go to a car and siphon the gas the game assumes there are so many containers lying around that you can find something to pu the gas in. Or are you imagining that every car has a filled portable gascan in the trunk of it?

The water change says "yes there are plenty of containers round but you can't put water in any of them".

Well then, sucks to be you. Get used to it. That's the game as it will be.

You could...
Make a backup.

And then...

Wait and try the update when it's released and decide then if you like it.

Like it, cool. No further work needed.
Don't like it, then you can play the previous version, or mod the stuff you like/dislike in and out.

Try it then comment, or it's just speculations based on partial knowledge and projected feelings.
