Desert Biome: Where are the vultures?

Just wondering if the vulture spawn and or behaviour has changed. Have moved to the desert and for the last couple of days I've not been attacked by vultures when my health is low. I generally live in the desert so the difference is quite stark - also not seen that many coyotes around either. (random map - but I always play random as well)
Any thoughts or comments from the mods or someone in the know?

The Vultures of alpha (?) 16 are only around on horde night if you take a drive,

Are you playing the new experimental? I'm playing on a random gen map, straight vanilla, and I get mobbed by vultures every time I go to the desert or wasteland.

Sorry, yes, should have said - playing the experimental. Know what you mean about being mobbed, which is why it seemed so strange to me that I got nothing for 2 days. I did see a couple vultures off a bit but no contact.

What level are you playing? if I may ask. I don't have that experience. Granted I am playing warrior, so there are more difficult levels.

Personally i love the desert but this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ vulture attacks every minute is so damm annoying... i don't know how made it but must have a special place in hell.... what if they just add a new "poi" like dead animal corpse/bone with a few sleeping vulture so if u come close they atatck u and disable this every second vulturpe spawn....

I'm in the wasteland and have multiple of them typically within minutes of each other. Very noticeable when not full health.

I still have my murder of Cliff Racers... Oh... I mean vultures following me where ever I go.

I guess you're lucky, since I've been surrounded by five vultures circling overhead, and with 100% full health. Things are a bloody nuisance.

Awe you don't have vultures? That explains why I feel like I have so many on my server..

Ha! Have since started a new game (died to extendo arms) and the new map has plenty of Vultures so thanks for keeping them company for a while - much appreciated.
