How do i change new game default settings?
I do permadeath runs so i generate new maps a lot, and i'm sick of always having to change the general, basic and advanced settings each time i do. Is there a file i can edit to make the game default to what i want?

I have no idea why this was moved to modding, my question has nothing to do with mods.

you ask for editing a file, to get what you want. That´s the basics of moding.
Do take a look at the Tool settings? Like the old UserOptions data says:
This file is no longer used for overriding settings. All 7 Days To Die settings can be found and changed in the registry under the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\The Fun Pimps\7 Days To Die You can directly open RegEdit on that key from the game launcher on the tools tab.

I have regedit open but i don't have the slightest idea what values i'm suppose to set to change the settings the way i want

that´s what i mean too. The old one was the useroptions file. And this is the hint where to do it now.

I need more help than that, i don't even know where the useroptions file is

the useoptions file is needless now, it was in the user/roaming/7daystodie folder.
The value for an delete at dead should be at <playerkillingmode> entry change it to 5 (the fifth option in the game setting mode, my current is at drop all, the second option and stand on 2).
Airdropfrequenz is in ingame hour. and so on.
And with this you should be able to change everything of it like you want to your default.
But to be honest, i´m not sure and all of the changes on your own risk. Perhaps another one can help more.

I tried changing some registrys but they didn't have any effect on changing the default settings

The registry key you are looking for is NewGameSetDefaults_
Change the value from 1 to 0 and the game will use the last used settings for each new game.
