Zombie Dog in Tier One POI
Why is there a zombie dog in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tier ONE poi. WHY.

I mean sometimes they're in untiered spots so you can just be strolling by and suddenly a dog is coming after you.

They're zombies, dude. They don't play by rules.

It was a tier one poi, had the skull on top of my screen. It's a game, there should be rules for what can and cant spawn in a tier one lol. It's not really progression if all i have is a stone club and bow and i dip into a little shack for a second thinking I will be fine and theres a zombie dog which is a mid/lowmid tier enemy in a tier one poi.

A21 is kind of ruthless. I saw a feral cop on the first night and a feral wight on day 6. I kinda dig the insanity to be honest.

We should be able to disable creatures we don't want. So far, the only option is disable all enemies which even disables normal bears and wolves. It's pretty lame. People say "oh go edit such and such xml file" or "run xyz mod". Then a new version comes out and you have to start over.

Zombie dogs can spawn anywhere, especially in the wasteland area. I faced a dog in a tier one area, died of course. Sometimes you just get bad luck or a bad spawn spot.

there's been a dog in a tier 1 gas station for a long time.

you can kill it super easy by using a bow from the outside through the window.

Yep, just finished a tier 1. It was located outside in the back as I entered the area, I jumped onto a stack of something and one hit the dog. done and done.

There is already a huge amount of customization available. The level you're asking for would be just insane. A headache to code, a headache for the devs to manage, and a headache for sane players to manage. We don't need all that.

bruh the dogs are weak as hell and a stone spear or a bow takes it out easy also you can just scavange stuff sell to a trader and buy some molotovs if things gets hairy :steamthumbsup

Dogs are not some higher tier enemy. The difference is you need to play more strategic with them and be generally more cautious so you are not taken by surprise.

In new and remodeled POIs you are (almost) always warned about presence of dogs - by either doghouse or yellow animal cage.

There's a Tier 1 POI that spawns a dog inside a container, but you're not required to kill the dog to clear the POI (it's the house on the back of a truck), it's more of a surprise encounter.

see dogs as your early game ferals, they're fast, but don't have as much hit points
