Dew Collector placement
Trying to figure out what the pink vs green placements outline is supposed to mean for dew collectors. Pink is supposed to mean an unsupported placement that will result in a collapse, but it doesn't for the collectors. They can be placed within pink outlines just fine.

However, if you keep moving them around, eventually you'll find a green outline placement. Do the green placements have faster collection rates or something? I have all my collectors spread out in green placements, but if it doesn't make a difference I'd rather have them all localized to a single area.

Thanks for any info regarding this!

the colors represent stability. green for no problems, grey for meh, yellow for if you keep this up your roof might collapse, and pink for eminent falling if you do anything else.

at least thats how ive always looked at placemernt colors

Colors are only meant to display structural integrity. Green meaning the Dew collector is very well supported and pink means the location is not supported as well as green.

Yeah that's what I always thought as well, but it doesn't seem to work that way for the collectors. You can place them in pink outlines placements just fine, no collapse.

You can place them on solid ground and still get pink placements. So I'm wondering if the placement outlines have something to do with collection rates, maybe green placements gain water faster? I can't tell.

It doesn't affect collection rates. Only structural integrity. It should also be pointed out that the color scheme for integrity can be bugged and has been for a while. Yes, pink means less integrity but that doesn't mean you can't place it there either.
