Water Farm
Has anyone tried to setup a huge water farm with the dew collectors? I was thinking of setting aside a field to put up like 30 or so of them. Since they use timers has anyone who setup something like this noticed any performance hits for large operations? Kind of curious as I think it'd be a neat thing to add to a future A21 farm along side the crops.

On a side note.. kind of a shame you can't setup that decorative piping to funnel all the collectors in to a big barrel or tank. That'd make for some interesting setups you could do.

If we can't have useable pipes or hoppers to automate item collection, they seriously need to add more advanced forms of water generation as we progress through the game. Dew collectors seem like they should be an early game option, but we have nothing else right now. Shoot, we should be having progressively advanced forms of all workstations. It's insane that the only method of cooking we still have is a campfire.

A water plumming system would make sense with the electrical system.
You can pipe to a lake and access water in a base using sinks, giving you a reason to have appliances and equipment blocks instead of decorations.

For instance a washing machine should technically clean the gear you put in, maybe recover a small mount of durability for clothing?

Or maybe it buffs clothing gear with temporary durability.

More active machines, more heat and noise generated.

If repairing armor and clothing and weapons are overhauled we can make use of some of the decorative props for machining or repairing our gear and use resources for them.

For instance you need to sew or duct tape damage to armor, not use up merely cloth and the damage stays gone...

Repair kits works for T2+ weapons but pipe weapons seems a bit odd with just a single pipe. Maybe glue or duct tape as additional resources?

Using a Ammo loader prop to craft ammo is more efficient, using a workbench to repair gives weapons more durability.

That will never happen TBH. "Ten Years in Alpha" and all they have ever done is progressively ruin the game, while making it look nicer through the years.
Zombie went from mindless shambling hordes that would throw themselves off a cliff like scared lemmings, to jackhammer fisted, adamantine skeletoned heat seeking missiles with advanced knowledge of engineering so detailed they know exactly what to destroy to ruin a structure's stability, that can dig a hole to bedrock as fast as a player with a augur and crush solid steel walls with only their hands while taking no damage from doing that in the process.
Player learned by doing a task, to gaining mysterious knowledge by simply killing zeds and hoping RNG gives them that one book they need to be able to bulk craft ammo, to pure RNG reliant garbage advancement.
You think TFP will add QoL? *gives jester award* They just did legit everything in their power to make your game experience infinitely worse, more tedious, and more luck/rng reliant to even advance. You'd be better off asking a modder to make all that stuff than expecting TFP to give 1 iota if a ♥♥♥♥ about advancement, player feedback, or actually implementing anything into the game that makes your time in game anything more pleasant.

you can build a tower and just stack them upwards, floor in between. makes it take longer to loot though.

I started using a mod - Merged Dew collectors. Basically merges 3 collectors to 3x Dew collector, and then 3 of those to 9x Dew collector - takes space as one, produces bundle of 9 waters. I think this would be a good idea for basegame, as you need a lot of glue later,..
