O.o zombies only go where you direct them to go, plenty of time for building pretty houses they can tour through during horde night to get to you.
I found that you can use the hammer to remove the boards covering (reinforcing) the doors. It also brings the hit-points for the selected door down to 170.
For those that don't like the reduced hit-points for the doors, as mentioned, there are game mods for that.
EDIT: I should point out that a "regular" un-reinforced door is just under 50% of a reinforced door. It is a glass half empty/full kind of thing for the sake of aesthetics.
Yeah why do we even have colours and textures and nice looking graphics, everything should just be plain and grey and square because this a mature adult game about killing zombies, not building things that are aesthetically pleasing, that kind of ♥♥♥♥ is for kids!
