Land claim blocks
If i use a land claim block in a large POI, and the perimeter the box sets isn't large enough to cover the POI, am I going to have POI zombies spawning on those areas that aren't covered? Is it just bad to take a large POI? Took over a prison on a generated map and this is what I've run into now.

Didn't see anything on a quick search for this subject but am placing the block right now... Trying to figure out if I just wasted my time in slowly clearing this 5 star POI in my first couple days. Thought it would be fun to build up defenses on this big prison though.

The only thing a landclaim block does is preventing zombies from respawning inside that green "safe zone" a landblock creates.
So yes, if the POI is bigger then the safe zone, zombies can and will spawn in the rest of the building.

You can adjust the land claim size on the Multiplayer tab up to 71 blocks. This also applies to singleplayer. There are mods to increase it even more. It will stop POI sleepers respawning, but you can still get wandering spawns inside the zone.

Well, it also lets you pick up/move workstations.
But yeah, just stops sleeper z's from coming back within the defined zone. Doesn't halt general world spawns, screamers, hordes etc.

In A21 you could supposedly place more than one (3) to cover more POI territory, but I hear there's a bug where placing them too close together still deactivates the previously placed ones or something I have no idea if this is a universal glitch or not, nor if it could be avoided by placing them farther apart.

Edit: and yes you could mod it to cover larger area than default settings.

Overlapping LCBs might have problems, but it's not universal. 5 LCBs, all active.

Is it new to A21 that LCBs prevent poi respawns?
That's never been the case before, only bedrolls did that.
LCBs were basically pvp protection zones and to pick your stations back up.

No, not new at all. I don't know if they blocked POI sleeper respawns from the beginning, but certainly the past few alphas. Bedrolls block sleeper respawns, plus block the wandering zombie spawns in a small area. In past alphas it was possible on MP or SP with mods to have multiple LCBs and in that case the extra ones only provided the station pickup and pvp stuff, but the first one still blocked sleepers.

Alrighty then. I barely touched A20 tbh, but in A19 I did some serious testing on this topic, since it always was a mystery of sorts. Some said so, others said so. And the final conclusion back then was, LCBs did nothing in that regard.
Only bedrolls. But if you say so. Might have changed at some point.

It could be random bugs that occur in some situations. There's a few recent topics about sleepers spawning in LCB protected POIs. And I've had a small number of occasions the past couple years where zombies appeared where I was sure they shouldn't, but most of the time they do seem to work.

I can place 60 LCB's if I wanted, and they'll all say they're "active" - but it doesn't mean the function of sleeper respawn prevention is actually working beyond the first, or now, third one, or whatever. Like in A20 where by editing the registry I could place a zillion but only the first one placed would "work" re: sleepers. Which isn't to say it's still true in A21, I have not really tested that at all, like I did in A20. Just that it might possibly still be doing that.

But the issue I was talking about was from a post from SylenThunder. Placing them next to each other and then logging out or something.
