Tree wont stop spawning inside my base. Help..

There is a specific tree that spawns in my base that breaks the blocks that I've placed in its wake. It seemed to happen when I go far from my base but recently I have been able to recreate the bug by just logging out of my server and joining back. I have tried restarting the server after I've broken it. placing land claim blocks where it spawns, digging a giant hole under it. it always comes back, land claim blocks seem to be the only blocks it doesn't break instantly. though, when I break the tree, it breaks the claim blocks, leaving the icon as if there was a land claim block still there, but they are not. When the tree breaks, there is no animation like the other trees, it falls straight through the world and still gives me wood and seeds. I'm at a loss. I've built up this base quite a bit and do not want to move. Is there any solution? I've seen people talking about this issue way back in 2018 and it still seems to be a bug. What in the world...

Maybe try asphalt or water down in the spot where it grows.

You may need to turn off block reset, if the tree is re-spawning and breaking everything around it, that sounds like a reset to me, though I personally have not used the new feature yet.

When starting a game before actually hitting start there are settings and the setting to change is chunk reset.
