Report a translation problem
Normally you can 'restart' the horde once its finished by loging off and then back on again. If you log off before the horde finish time (4am) the whole thing starts again - the same as what happens if you log off after starting a quest but not finishing it - the quest marker will start again.
I would think the TFP didn't want people to get caught in a death loop by having the horde respawn after death and camp the player all night:). Just a guess though!

except it doesn't entirely work like that. If you get spotted while the clock is still running, the BM resumes. You get in sight of your home base and a nightspawn zed spots you? BAM. Horde is back on.. and guess where it's heading?
