Death on Horde Night Zombies Stop Spawning
So I died on horde night in single player and I re-spawned on my bed but no zombies spawn anymore. I've had the issue in previous versions. Is this supposed to be that way? Is there a way to make them attack me again without going through the console commands? Thanks.

Yes, its part of the game - you die - everything ceases. Im guessing because, previously when you died it would create a death loop if horde zombies stormed you while trying to get your stuff.
Normally you can 'restart' the horde once its finished by loging off and then back on again. If you log off before the horde finish time (4am) the whole thing starts again - the same as what happens if you log off after starting a quest but not finishing it - the quest marker will start again.

Exit the world and when you enter again the horde will restart.

Logging out and logging back in should do the trick like rincewind said. You can use this method to reset the horde any time before 4:00 AM.

I would think the TFP didn't want people to get caught in a death loop by having the horde respawn after death and camp the player all night:). Just a guess though!

That makes a lot of sense. I thought of logging off then back on but did not. I see it was the way to go.

Thank you everyone for your help. Cheers

I liked that the horde night didn't end with the death of the player. There was more motivation to defend to the last. Now death does not matter. You can just come to the field. die, then pick up your backpack and go home. It became uninteresting.

except it doesn't entirely work like that. If you get spotted while the clock is still running, the BM resumes. You get in sight of your home base and a nightspawn zed spots you? BAM. Horde is back on.. and guess where it's heading?
