The removing of reusable glass jars and replacing it with this crap was just a very lazy option.
I have no idea why people are fanboying such poor lazy designs.
Do you think the fuel canisters should also be refunded when you fuel you vehicle?
2. Game mechanics often don't mimic reality. Maybe you complain about being able to literally carry enough steel blocks to build a 1:1 scale model of the Titanic in your bag too? This argument is just silly.
At least boiling murky water is zero input from me, and you need duct tape in absolute massive quantities for making late-game equipment.
Why can I not be against unlimited carrying capacity too? It would be a better change than making bottles disappear.
But . . if you can do anything in game that you want wouldn't that same logic say that rain collectors and dew collectors could be the same thing. I mean to be fair the graphic looks more like a rain catcher.
On top of that, tracking rain, is much more CPU intensive than it sounds.
Imagine having to track the "collected rain" status for a big farm of 50 dew collectors! The current dew collector, instead, only checks for how much time has passed when you open it.
