And try not to charge right into every zombie you see on the way to the first trader. There's no need or point.
Having said that, I think it would be okay for the vanilla game to start players with a slightly better kit. Maybe 5 water, and 2 Honey when we wake up. This would help with some of the new player panicking and moaning, without having to make everything in the game 10x easier and more common.

Lelo is asking for a source- Because in A20 and prior, You needed a specific Wasteland Treasures book to be able to get honey from regular trees, Not stumps.

I don't hit up the drug store that often but that might be a pretty good place to grab some early honey/antibiotics.
