do bird nests respawn in the world by default?

i know they're eggs, but they seem to be the bread and butter for us newcomers

Yes, they respawn. At least with loot respawn on (under advanced tab) they do. I completely cleared an area of all weeds, stones, nests, and garbage bags for my long term base. By a week later it was littered with bird nests. Worry not, eggs are beyond ultra-common in A21.

Ayup, my most played game hours in my library. Fallout3 is a distant second. Have fun, and don't forget to eat and feed the pets..

What's also funny, you can leave one feather in the nest, chop it, and it gives you 3-4 extra for chopping it, also dropping that one feather.

I just add one rock in it then destroy it. Currently I am not doing bows this time so I just need them eggs.
