How to repair Armor and Weapons?
I got a few pieces of armor that require repairs also a pipe gun but idk how to repair them, i received a few Repair Kits from Trader Joel after finishing one of his missions but i dont know how to use it, the repair option is grayed out
The only things i can repair are tools and meleee weapons that dont require Repair Kits.

Any info on this?

Short Iron Pipes repair all Pipe Weapons. Cloth Fragments, Leather, or Iron ore Repair Armor depending which Armor you have. Repair Kits will repair proper weapons like the Pistol or the AK. They will also repair any tools made of Iron or Steel.

Go to your player inventory, click on the item you want to repair and click on its book icon. That will tell you the material it needs for a repair.

To repair armor, it needs to be in your general inventory. You can't be wearing it.

Certain items require certain materials for repairs. For example, to repair your Stone Axe, you would need Stones -- and if you have those materials handy, all you do is press the repair button while the Stone Axe is selected and it'll enter your crafting queue.

As Metalhead said, Pipe Weapons would need Short Iron Pipes, and so on, and so forth. Items like "Repair Kits" are used in the same way -- to repair particular items. For example, to repair a Wrench, you would require a Repair Kit. They are used to repair things that aren't quite as 'home-made' compared to, say, a Stone Axe or a Pipe Pistol.

You'll get the hang of it eventually.

They used to be, since they were also dirt cheap to make at the time.
