Though the only one I know is "The Wild Land" and I haven't tested it.

Agree 100%
Just like RWG is generates new gameworlds, but lets you customize it with many paramters ( landscape, biomes, traders, city sizes, number of POIs, lakes)
An 8k map takes around 3 minutes to generate.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it's an overhaul and I was said that they are much trickier to handle than modlets. You can't just remove them and keep playing your save like you did before.
Also one might not want to change about every aspect of the game if he's only looking for a better RWG mod.
Install the Modlet Thewildland
Change your steam install to alpha 17.1 generate a decent map (remember the name) Move that map folder to the desktop...
Install alpha 17.2 back to steam & verify files
Copy the map made using the modlet back to your install folder or place online if dedicated....

Another way is to Modify the original Thewildland modlet like Ive done & generate the map using alpha 17.2 BUT this wont include the extra biomes included that will only work on alpha 17.1
Well, no, they're not posting day by day updates, or even weekly ones, but what TFP have said, quite clearly, is that RWG is getting some major love. Hopefully the results of those efforts fall into 17.3, but if not, they'll enter into the game just as soon thereafter as they are ready.
Always - TFP is really aware of the need for RWG to get some major love and attention. Madmole has talked quite a bit about on the main forums (see Sylen's links) and when we do get to see the results of that (still not sure whether it'll be 17.3 or later), if it achieves what TFP is talking about, then it'll be a really major boost for RWG players (I only ever play RWG myself).
