How do I add more inventory slots?

I'm thinking it would have to me in one of the .xml files, but I'm not sure what to look for because I've tried the word inventory and it don't work.

I don't think it's currently possible to do ... technically you can edit the .xml's to allow it, but any items in the extra slots will disappear/go poof upon exit/reload. So it wouldn't be very "safe."

You can however easily edit the items.xml to increase stack sizes (of stackable things), if desired. Like wood/iron/stone, food, water/jars, etc. which can help a bit with inventory overload.

You can easily edit the inventory space by going into the windows.xml file in the data/config/XUi folder of your 7d2d. However, this won't be enough if you want a proper, fully integrated backpack. What happens is the game is only coded to recognize the default backpack slots so for any of the new slots that you add, you will end up with this problem, none of the new slots will be interact-able within the game, so you can't craft from them, shift click into or out of them, and when you leave the game, any items stored in them will disappear.

Stuff like that is hard coded into the actual files so you can't modify without disabling eac and modifying the dll's which means you can't join most servers.

Even having the option to add extra backpack "Tabs" - similar to extra pouches. As a mod anyways.
