LAN mode please?
With Dying Light,. me and my brother can just connect our machines together with a crossover cable and play LAN (on console as well as pc). It would be soooooo cool to be able to play LAN with 7Days to Die. Especially the console versions. Relying on ONLY internet for multiplayer just leaves us playing nothing but singleplayer in most games.
For some strange reason, the PC version of Minecraft has LAN but console version doesn't. Splitscreen is okay in a pinch but being able to have the full screen to yourself is nice.

LAN = good.

I feel that I may just be shouting into the wind though.

You might check on 7DTD website forums. I heard in a lets play vid on Youtube that FP said they are not doing LAN support. At the time it was working kinda spotty but the guy doing the video moved to a rented server.

Anyway you won't find in depth discussions on a Steam forum. Best to go to their website. As it is for all games.

edit: I think the Youtuber was Kage 848

Are you telling me that setting IP to 192.168.1.10 on one computer and 192.168.1.11 on the other can't find eachother in 7 days to die when directly entering the host machine IP?

That can't be true because lan support is in the game from the start and was never removed.

Open a multiplayer game, set a password. Finished.

For me and my roommate that always worked. I am not sure about consoles because i have none.

All things console will be done by Telltale and their dev team. So asking here for anything console related is a waste of effort.

Yeah, and it should work!.. even with cross cable. The game have no idea about interfaces network structures or anything. It's just trying to communicate with another ip.
Or that is how it should be at least...
