CAN YOU FILL A HOLE IN
Hi just a simple question if anyone can help please. Is there anyway to fill a hole once you have dug it.

My mate and I have dug a trench around our base but now want to make the Base bigger and need to know if we can fill the trench back up to make the ground like it was before.

if you have fertile soil , put it in a slot and equip it. then you can place it with the right mouse button

I'm pretty sure Stone, Gravel, Fertile Dirt, Destroyed Stone, Asphalt, Sand will all fill in a hole. You can make them in the crafting menu. I think only Gravel and Fertile Dirt are now collectable. You right click to activate.

Hi there, sorry to bring that up again, but my guy won't fill up any holes, no matter wich material. Equiped it, hold it in hand but right button works nowhere... 😕 what's wrong? Just me again?

I presume you're refering to Dirt Fragments that you get when digging up soil? Click on it in your inventory, and then select recipes. You can then craft various ground blocks from it such as Burnt Forest Ground, Forest Ground, Grassy Ground, Plains Ground and Sod, among other things.

You can then take these blocks and place them like any other block. The upside is that you can get quite a bit of Miscellaneous Crafting XP, and by Day 36 in one game, I max'd out the skill at 100. Basically, when I wasn't crafting anything manually, I just started crafting ground to be doing something while being able to do other things.
