If you want the speed of the mini bike you put up with the noise and hassle of making alot of fuel.
animal fat + beaker = bio fuel
grain alcohol + biofuel = ♥♥♥♥ tons of gas....
just post up a spot where there is a lot of game and make sure its near water. build a huge corn field(or take over the one in the game) make a chest and fill it with water. Go hunting, carve urself up some fat. one day of pure hunting will giff u enough fat to make gas thru the night.
i have a race track with 6-7 minibikes, all full of gas.
Last update increased the amount of gas that cars provide to a much more substantial figure. Should make minibikes more tolerable for players who use them. I personally still avoid them due to the other bugs they are known for.
Even if you put 1000 gas in now, and dive a few meters, you would still be able to take everything thats left out, may it be 999 or 1, nothing gets lost.
Another potential reason is the unrealistic huge stacks of gas before, gas was an item that took up pretty much no slots before, now a stack is 1000 gas, and that ways its more realistic.
I think the purple engien does not use less gas than a bad quality one, but it can hold more, and it also go's faster, so for the same ammount of gas you can move a larger distance.
It feels like the engien take less gas, since you can put more gas into it, and thus have to refill it less often.
The Tires affect the tracktion you have on the ground, and that affect how well you can drive up hills and keep controll on uneven terrain. The handlebars however dont affect the ''preformance'' of the bike when it comes to controll in any way, it has a set steering angle thats the same on every quality handlebar, and even the breaking power is the same, the only thing the handlebars affect is the amount of light it provides.
Any other bike part does not affect the preformance of the bike when it comes to controll either, the chassis and seat reduce the dammage taken by a fall, and the battery affects how much power it can hold (how fast it drains when the light is on and the bike not moving)
All parts affect the durability but that in itself is only hitpoints and not how well it steers, or how much controll you have over it.
I have started experimenting with taking the bike partially apart, say take tires and battery or somesuch, and then make a box, put on pavement next to whats left and store... so far, I've not had a bike that was partially disassembled vanish... but who knows. At least I didn't have a basket full on the one that vanished,
You could try building a new bike and making sure its not moving before you leave it parked somewhere, this should help fix your problem from what i can tell.
The weird part is, the game trolling me so hard. Earlier before the bike vanished, I'd riddent o hub city.. it was full of zed dred , and me zipping around scouting POI's to come back and loot later. I stop at pumping plant to check out basement stash and a bear shows up outside. So I go upstairs and knock out glass to look at him. He's trying to smash through gate when cop saunters up next to the bear. They both start wailing on. the. gate.. not each other.
So I shoot he bear with an arrow and the cop with an arrow. Then they attack one another. heh. The a spidey shows up ... and dogs... and ferals... and assorted concerned town folk looking to eat my brains. So as they assault the perimeter, I look at my bike, sitting on the street.
I kill a few. The bear breaks into the bldg first and hits be from behind ( I'm upstairs shooting out of window ).. I don't know how he tracked up to me but he almost killed me. I run from him only to run into two ferals and a few others. I hop on the consoles, jumping around, hop down over the railing to first floor ( thanks Pimps for nerfing the fall damage! ) then run outside as fast as I can to the bike. I'm on it and outta there....
If that bike had vanished in that encounter I would have been rightly pinched cause I had no real out... and it was getting late in the day. BUT, I was in fairly close proximity to the bike the whole time so maybe it's a game-map-drawing thing? Don't know.
