Will a "New Game" erase my current profile/character?

Hi There!
Here is my question please: if I decide to create a brand new character on a brand new server, will my current character and so on be erased?

Depends if persistent profiles is on or off, this lets you use multiple profiles. Profiles are in your user files & you can not even play the game until you create at least one profile.

When you select a server the settings should be displayed to the right so just look for persistent profiles setting.

When you start to play you can pick the profile you want to start with.

I can see the setting on the right, but nothing which says "persistant profile"...
It's a LAN server, does it matter?

ok got the settings, persistant profile is set to false, so I can create several profiles, right?

Yes, you can log in with multiple profiles that all look different but they will always be the same "character". They'll have the same inventory, same stats, access to the same locks, etc.

your character is saved at C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves\NavezganeOrRandomGen\GameName\Player

So you can paste n copy him from one Local game to an other.

On a Server you would need help of the Admins of Both Servers with the right to access this folder. But i am not sure 6that this will work, maybe the File ID´s are different, not sure about this
