is there an ending?
have they completed the game, or is it still endless mode?

Why would there be an end to a game like this? You just keep on surviving. If you want games you can "finish" go play consoles.

As yet there's no "End." There will be though. At least for Navesgane.

To get an idea of what that will be, you need to realise that the Pimps have basically stated they wanted to make a "Minecraft meets Fallout 3" game, and go from there. It'll have a proper storyline, faction system and everything. At least the PC version will.

As far as I can tell RandomGen will be infinite and unending. As will Creative Mode.

Yep, in my singlplayer adventures that usually means a complete restart on a different seed.

Any game that's on PC can't ever be on a console. What a horrible mistake it would be to try to have a game that's on both "platforms."

I wouldn't mind it if there was an option for an end game. I find that for me, the game turns from survival to attempting to build the biggest nicest base because the zombies are simply more of a PITA instead of a real threat. I seem to have the most fun when starting out and running away from zombies or cowering in the dark hoping I won't be noticed. This is why I have started re-playing State of Decay.
