Bulletproof glass not waterproof?

There is a fun fact about bulletproof glass. It won't stop water. I have built a base under water, surrounded with bulletproof glasses, but everytime some water is glitching into my rooms. Is this expected behaviour or a bug?

What? You said a fun fact is that bullet proof glass wont stop water then asked why water leaks into your rooms through bullet proof glass. So you know it did and now are asking why it did!?

Well it's bulletproof glass, not waterproof glass. Duh.

Also, water is buggy though the developers are trying to fix it for Alpha 21.
