Supposedly debug mode + god mode works but I've never been able to use that to see anything underground that I haven't come in "contact" with before/haven't dug out myself. Although I can see the chests and houses and animals floating on the ground surface above me. Just not the underground stuff.

But I'm probably not using it properly or something.

Yeah, you find a rope. Tie it into a noose and then hang yourself. Then you enter god mode and it allows you to see everyone- err, I mean everything underground.

I don't see the point in such tricks in the first place. The game currently (in RWG anyway) makes it so easy to get all minerals (outside of brass) I hardly have to mine anymore to begin with. Lead is about the only reason, and if you find one cave or one deposit you're set for lead for a long time.
