agreed. but beer still gives stamina only, same for coffe

even with only 1 or 2 levels of it, i never run out of stamina.
Saves a lot of time and energy.
A line of of explosives creates a trench about the right width, although it needs to be a bit deeper intially. But the second instance will do that. You'll have a trench the right depth & width ready for finishing off with concrete blocks (walls & floor) :)
Depending how you evolved in game, it mgiht actually be easier/faster to create gupowder/dynamite or fuel/gas then to dig yourself silly... although with a purple shovel and the right perks/upgrades, total time would be about the same.. and digging would be less noisy and attrack less witches/spiders :)
Downside is that it's loud and will cause the heatmap to grow causing zeds to appear. Upside is it gets the job done for fast cleanup of most blocks. Also as stated above, using TNT properly (and carefully) will make quick work for building trenches and tunneling.
