Grouping up

I am new to this specific game, but can you group or create a clan so you are able to share beds and sleeping bags? If so how do you do it?

Each person must use their own sleeping bags for a spawn point. You do not sleep in this game.

You group up with people by pressing I and selecting the plus sign under Allies.

There is no formal group or clan type system. You can add friends once in a game based on who is also in that game. Whether or not you team up and play PvE or PvP, or become enemies and PvP one another though, is entirely up to each individual playing. As mentioned though yo do need your own bed rolls one per person. You can put passwords on locked doors, hatches, chests, etc too so friends can use them too.
