Why GREEN DOT!?

What is this green dot showing everybody where my sleeping bag is located?
We have a lil' PVP action on my server, don't want to give away locations.

I was hoping it is a server setting. If not, it should be.

EDIT: Anyway, its the only way to actualy find other players in an infinite random world...

I think if you go far enough your computer will crash or something, so no not infinite. But how long would it take you to eat a million twinkies? Pretty much forever.

Their locations and sleeping bag locations only show up on your map if they are on your friends list.

My friend did keep walking in the same direction long enough to find the nuke zone where you can't go. So the map is massive but not infinate.

I think if you go far enough your computer will crash or something, so no not infinite. But how long would it take you to eat a million twinkies? Pretty much forever.

minecraft is infinite and not so ether , farlands exist but you cant get there by normal means , i dont think noone ever or anytime soon will make it that far for it to happen ether

Since several months, Minecraft is finite and has a border, where you cant go any further. There is even a unbreakable energy wall.

Well... players have to go to their base eventually. I can lay down an ambush and finally put my tnt to good use. >:D

Green dots are your friends. If your going to be doing a PvP game, I suggest you don't friend the guy whom your trying to kill.

Pretty sure they're not your friends. I had green dots on my compass before i friended anyone.
