Playable zombie?

Think this; 8 human player and 4 zombie player sama server;)
How cool it wound be try take down fortress or just make human life more difficult.

Making holes in wall or use some tools.

There is not many game, where you can play zombie and human same time. or even co-op with zombie player.

Nice thought, but I think that goes against the spirit of the game..... would be a fun option though.... with people playing the zombies.... heh heh :)

oh the trolling that would happen, smashing other players' walls down to let your zombie comrades in :D, i love it

or put in the option to infect other players .. then there can be only 1 winner the ultimate survivor

One of the pinned threads in this forum is Goals and Stretch Goals. The following is quoted from the core features section:

Solo, Cooperative and Multiplayer - Play solo, coop or multiplayer in our unique Zombie Nomad Mode be a human, a bandit or a zombie for a no rules experience. Watch the leader boards and fight to be the Big Clan of the Wasteland or the Duke of Navezgane.

So playing as a zombie is a core feature. You should read the whole list as there are many many other features planned. This game is far from done.

No...but the devs have listed Left 4 Dead as one of the games that inspired this one. I would not be surprised to see more special zombies in the future that are similar in nature to the special zombies of that game.

It really is okay to borrow (and improve) awesome features from another game to be elements of this one. It won't magically turn this one into that one.

That's because you didn't read the whole thread.....it will be an official mode and not an unofficial mod

When MP stabilizes i wouldn't mind chasing you all around as a zombie :)

It would suck to have to play as a Crawler though.

Jump off your roof twice in Alpha 9 and you can play as a crawler until you craft a couple splints...lol
