my personal preference is to avoid breaking down cars untl I'm at least 40-50 in scavenging (unless I'm in desperate need of basic resources)
It seems that after I've hit that milestone, I usually get at least 1 rare item from breaking down cars, and every 10 - 20 cars I'll find an engine (of varying quality).
I've always felt that higher quality wrenches yeld more motors and batterys from cars, in my current play through I only started getting them once I got a wrench that was over 100 quality. It could be luck but the quality of wrench does have a affect on the other stuff you get like gas, metal etc so it stands to reason.
you should not make a video that has a modded game for items. you even stated in your video that you modified it to give you engines.
Completely false. Player level, scavenging and quality Joe only effect numerical QUALITY of found engine.
It has no impact on odds to find it.
