Diamond gold and silver?

Have searched but no information yet other than that they exist. Has anyone found a use for these yet OTHER than just selling them? I know there a few more new materials that do have uses like plastic.

They're currently vendor trash. That's their whole purpose as of the current patch.

they exist as a trade commodity. except diamond...you make diamond auger bits with those too

Not quite the whole purpose, but it is a considerable part of it.

you can use dimonds but only sofar on modded servers, the server im on uses dimonds to make a unique shotgun lol, I have found gold and dimonds under a poi abandond mine in the desert, the poi had a wooden and brick building and a long conveyor belt setup outside, massive tunnel network underground with broken steps gangways etc :)

They have a new canyon gold mine at the big Grand Canyon in the desert. There is a house almost at the north tip with a water tower and conveyed belts. If you go into that house you can get into the gold mine. I just found it like half an hour ago and am not done going through it but so far tons of gold/silver//diamonds, always in sneaky spots. So make sure you check the walls and ceilings, underwater and under/behind stuff. Also tons and I mean tons of ore, of every kind. Awesome place.

And ya they can only be sold right now. But I wouldn't sell them right off. They could end up being used for something in th future and since they are kind of hard to come by it would suck to have sold them all before hand
