Storage Box vs. Chest
Why make one vs. another? Bot have the same slots as far as I can see.

Aesthetics, and the storage Box can be painted with several visual aids to help you know at a glance which is which for sorting purposes; Or to hide them in a wall so they're not an eyesore. (Just don't forget to account for structural integrity)

As above the look is the main thing, early on the lack of needing nails will lead you to have a lot of the chests and being less sure of how you want a base to be. Chests are good for being less obtrusive when you stick them on walls and ceilings but Boxes are good for painting for quick identifcation of what goes where or blending into a surface.

Storage boxes have the benefit of being able to put signs on in your craft base or concrete plates around it in your horde base.
