Now; how it works exactly, I do not know.
That may apply to an entire biome, if it's completely hunted out, or a default refresh rate for animals. You may have to check adjacent biomes for more game to hunt.
Even after I've hunted lots of deer and pigs, there has still been a number of chickens and rabbits, that I have a hard time spotting in grassy areas.
That is a great idea bacon and eggs has a reallyn great wellness to fullness ration but i can never find enough eggs.
But for long term food i usally use corn bread. No smell, easy production and high stack in backpack
But biomes are not so big, so you can walk easily in your next hunting area.
I'm looking at resonable ideas for the chickens etc. Maybe even a horse or two since we have farms.
Still, I'd be happy to just have the pigs and chickens.
