why is every building filled with lame jump scare zombies?
Ive had this game for years and it seems with every good thing they add they add 3 more ♥♥♥♥ things. Every single building has zombies coming out the walls and ceiling like wtf is this. Lame. But to revert back then your missing out on the good things they actually did. Is no one pointing this out?

I know. It's not a surprise anymore, you 100% expect it to happen in every single building. Too many of them are in hidden walls, closets with doors you can't even open (have to smash them), and ceilings. It should be happening about 25% as often as it does. Same with break-away floors. It's used too often so it's never a surprise.

What I want to see instead of cheap jump scares and broken floors? Actual hordes of zombies during the day or night when it is *NOT* a blood moon. Not groups of 6 to 8 zombies. Big hordes of dozens, if not 100+ that I simply don't want to mess with. Hordes that I find myself in the middle of when I've been looting a building, they just wandered up while I was busy for 2 hours looting and now getting away is going to be difficult so maybe I need to try to wait them out - but I'm low on food/water so... maybe I have to try to leave. Hordes that might wander up to my base and decide to hang around for a while for no reason at all. And no, not hordes of stupid "special" zombies with strange abilities that make no sense (like the puking cops). Just a massive group of mostly normal zeds that will be a problem if I am not careful. Hordes I might have to distract or lead away from my base, or from a POI I want to explore.

Yeah, they add 2 or 3 lame things for every good thing, or they ruin a system or game mechanic with every update. They're planning on ruining clothing/armour and how you collect water with jars in A21. Yay.... :steamfacepalm:

I think wandering sleepers are still planned for a21 and once implemented I'm hoping this means 98% of zombies in PoIs will no longer be wannabe jump scares.

i can forgive armor and water jar. as long bandits exist while giving tier 6 quest.

Its a bit (more/less at the same time) fun to go back a building later. Zombie is standing in a destroyed closet, so you can see zombie, zombie should be able to see you, but you didn't cross that secret line in the floor to wake the zombie up.

zombies coming out of the walls and ceiling are cool
the real issue is that stealth doesnt work on most POIs
but hey... empty bottles are the priority huh?

man the bottle orbiting your head
Stealth works in pretty much all PoIs, it's just not obvious at first because wake triggers still happen but zombies won't find you when they wake. And it's not particularly rewarding when you can just run through and smash everybody in a fraction of the time without much more risk.

I just wish, pimps did not wreck entire game, every time they try to "discourage" players from certain type of gameplay, they dont like that year...

My biggest issue is zombies just chilling in the strangest places for the sole purpose of ambushing you. How did these people get up in the rafters, turn into a zombie and stand there motionless in that specific position until you happened to walk into the room? I understand people getting bit and hiding in a closet until they turn, but some of these hiding places are ridiculous.
i agree its done a bit too much. ive started using compo pack for more variety but it seems the same tactics are widely used by prefabbers. sleepers are nice to fill up buildings though. i remember pre a16 going through buildings, especially larger ones, felt very empty. i think there used to be more wandering zombies though

But the real question is... *drumrolls* ...Why isn't our character using toilets?? :bummer:
