What kind of name do you usually pick for worlds?

There's 2 'names' you create when setting up a new game. One is your save name--I usually just make it so I know which version the save is for.....something like 'MyA20p5'
Then there's the map (world) name when generating a random map. The seed name will make a difference on how the map generates so, it's kind of just trial and error. It used to be more dependent upon the seed name but, now it's also dependent on the advanced settings. So, we use to have a thread going for 'good seed names' which really isn't that relevant anymore.
Some good names use to be like; Heaven, blackjack, Dexterra, and the list went on. Ofc, the name gets converted to a number by the game but we all just went by the name we chose. Here's a link to some suggestions by others;

Well, i'd tell ya, but then I'd have to gank ya. Just kidding... my husband is excellent at coming up with completely awful, NSFW RWG names that make wonderful maps. 28 years in the Army can do that to a person, but I always give the game name one that will let me remember which version/update/grandkid or solo the map is intended for. That makes a difference for me and helps me distinguish between the myriad games I usually have going on when I'm not in 'wait mode', burned out, and/or playing something else for a bit.

I usually just pick 1 or 2 words, so if I get an awesome map it's easier to share it. Tunanoodle or monkeyfart are easier to remember than duuf56$3h or ppp87&gr7.

What ever comes to mind. Usually has something to do with whatever YouTube End of the world scare tactics are drumming up. Collapse of whatever is the issue this week. It helps let go of the world and start a new one. Cause the news cycle doesn't last long. Ukraine, Inflation, etc. I don't put too much thought into it.

Every time I pick some other random word, that playthrough goes badly off the rails. Horrible starts, never find a crucial recipe or loot item for _weeks_ of playing, dying and losing gear multiple times in a row. Stuff like that. It's made me superstitious.
