Higher level drone?

What benefit does a higher level drone accomplish?

not positive but i think it might also add more base storage before mods

I'd choose to make the cheaper low-level drone unless you can already make the drone's storage mod OR you already have several drone storage mods (the drone's storage mod is different than your armor or pocket storage mods, in case you didn't know).
A low-level drone costs fewer parts to make and still holds a single storage mod when you get or build one.

The higher-level drone only really matters when you can build or collect several drone storage mods.

THen again, if you're already swimming in MotionDetectors and RoboticParts, then I'd go ahead and make the lvl5 drone.

Well, I didn't want to dump a crap load into robotics just to get a high level drone. I did find you can't add two storage mods though. I like a level 3. Gives two mod slots. One for storage and one for Medical. Can't see the need for morale or armor.

You can only add multiple storage mods by Shift-clicking them into the drone, dragging and dropping isn't allowed.

That Drag&drop thingy not working for the drone got patched now for A20.4 which just came out.
