Highways, airports and seaports. Train stations etc
I really like the buildings in 7dtd, its very realistic. To have bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen plus a bedroom. Its shows that its a hpuse or apartment. Plus the offices in 7dtd, it also feels realistic. It just looks like an office because they have bathrooms and werehouses. They have military instalations. But one thing dissapoints me the most is the lack of airports, seaports and mostly the roads. It feels like the city looks like some 2nd world country plus 1st world combined. The cars are very weridly spaced out. I thought the cars will be like piled up with each other like a traffic jam on roads.

Airports or heliports are important in this game because no.1 where are the airdrops coming from and also how they dropped the bomb into the city in the first place. Maybe a airstrip or a runway. It does not have to nice, just make sense.

Seaports or harbor are already in the game but its just too small. I want to see containers where there are crates of pills or tools etc. Because as i said it make sense.

Ok highways and train station, the highway is already in the game but its really little like only a few pieces of highways left after the bomb ok. But maybe u can make the roads to have like signs, it does not have to be so real like town is 300 metres ahead or turn left to town. It just make sense to have highways instead of roads which is plain and boring and with sprase cars on the road.

Train stations can be added like a rail with the containers filled with crates for the shops in the city like pills and tools. Its like the harbor i just said, just add in containers

Maybe the creators should watch the walking dead because i guess most of the inspiration comes from there. But if u see the walking dead. First season, the cars are piling up in the highway like a traffic jam. In the city, very few cars are left because all of the owners have fled to the countryside or safe zones. Also why is there like only 1 type of car but its ok i understand the team is very short listed so i cant blame them for the lack of car designs

This discussion is not a complain but a critique to the game. Im just giving a few ideas that maybe the devs will make it in the near future

This has been discussed to death over and over in the last 4 years.

The idea is sound and fun but the implementation would require much better computer resources than today, since the number of objects on any single map would be too high.

As a small comparative example try going (in A16) in any skyscrapers area in a city and you'll know what I'm talking about.

That many loot-able cars that can be destructed for resources would really defeat the survival aspects. I'm certain the developers took this into mind when designing the game.

They really aren't important at all. I mean planes fly thousands of miles. They don't fly from the same city they are bombing at all.

to be fair, a football stadium or large pharmaceutical building could result in the same loot issue but look at how they did it. they could manage smaller scale versions of what the OP is talking about and balance the loot containers.

the football stadium stands out the most in my mind because i can compare it to the player made one in the prefab pack vs the official poi and the difference in loot balance is bordering on extreme.

in the end i'm all for more varied poi's though chances are we'll have to go to player made content for a lot more variety, that's unfortunate because most of them aren't as well balanced loot wise.
