Weapon/hand FOV issue
So I like this game and patient to see how the game will turn out once it leaves Early Access
and fully finished but one of the biggest issue I have with just playing the game is the restricted FOV. Sure the general max FOV is 85 and that's completely playable to me. It lets you see more on the side of your camera which is very useful. However, your hand and weapon FOV is tiny. I'd guess it's around 30-50 FOV? If we just had a slider to increase this type of FOV to 70 or 85 would be plenty.

You have your hand shoved in your face camera so it looks like your giraffe neck is bent down on your arm to see. Can we please have the ability to increase this so I can see more of my weapon, hands and arm? Aiming, moving around and being in a small building in first person with a small FOV is honestly disorienting.

Head over to Nexus mods, and grab the "Hands FOV" mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/1995?tab=posts

Knight Siegfried, most Devs don't even realise or notice the FOV in first person is way off. If anyone reading this and do not understand what I mean - I want you to fire up 7DTD or any First person view game and look where your hand and weapon is on the screen. Do you notice it's 2 INCHES away from your face - don't you think that's odd, who holds thing close to your eyeball like that ?

At least Fallout has a FOV 1st person view and a separate FOV world view that's not Fishbowl effect. You can actually distant the held object further away and a zoom back the background separately. Just use FOV 90 90 in console in any fallout 3 - 4 and skyrim game and see. This is the only thing I liked about that engine though.

TFP FOV is Fishbowl default Unity motion sickness inducing junk atm. Maybe they'll improve it ?

And I hate Unity ...

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean.
The FOV and the crosshairs are the two big UI issues the game faces. Why in the world did the devs think having a big ass crosshair NOT going away when aiming in or using a scope is a good idea. Thankfully, I can fix that problem in the XML's but good lord I'm happy I don't play on the console version.

Get a pistol, real, toy gun, whatever, and hold it the why it looks in game. Yes, I do like to fire my hand gun 4 inches away from my face.
