Glass blocks do not stop rain

As the title says, I just put windows in my base (I used the shower glass block) and was surprised to see that when I stand near them, I am getting wet and cold (I live in the snow biome).

Has this always been the case? In the Wiki, it states that:

"A Shower Glass Block is a very weak, forgeable building material. It can be used as a window and is superior to Glass Pane in several ways. It is much easier to see through, and also the air treats it like a solid block, it blocks out Wetness, weather noise, and smells. The Bank in Perishton has walls made of large amounts of Shower Glass Block but the blocks cannot be harvested whole."

Any ideas of how to have windows that stop the rain and cold?

Hey - A couple of posts ago a mod wrote that people should use xml files instead of the wiki,so they dont update it. I cant find it but "all the info is in the XML" was something akin to what they said. I respectfully disagree with that, not well marketed, average joe isnt opening text files to learn about game function. ANYHOW I face the same issue, small QoL issue but its there yep.

Thanks for the replies folks. As you said, it's a small QoL annoyance, but I have the clothing and mods so that it doesn't affect my char. Just wondered if anyone else had encountered this.....and now I know I'm not alone. :)
