Finding an auger in Alpha 20

Is it possible to find an auger at any game stage in Alpha 20 or will it only start to spawn at a certain game stage?

I think my game stage is around 187 and I have like 10 freaking augers in the last two days drop either from horde night or doing tier V missions. I use to beg for an auger and now its like oh god not another one.

This is in the wastelands BTW.

There are a lot more farms in game than used to be, but no more bunkers to take over as a base, which is fine by me as i prefer to build my own.

So does game stage matter as to when an auger can appear in loot? Like is it possible to find one in the 10-20 character level range?

No and no.
Loot stage matters and quest rewards.
My first one was from T4 mission.

I know you're talking about looting, but I'm wondering how quickly an auger would appear at the traders if you focused on getting Better Barter up to tier 4 (seems like that's when augers appear, unless there's some level or loot stage or something requirement for it too).
I bought a drone from a trader on day 22 in my current game, but I didn't really focus on Better Barter, so it might be possible to get the rarer things sooner.

im curious to im not to into the quest system i just like scavenging and building . hell im not even sure how to tell wat tier im at for loot ?

You're severely missing out on a lot of stuff if you're passing on the quest. Money and Experience as well as it resetting building so you scavenge the entire thing again. At some point you're gonna know what quest you should take because this building gives the most concerete,brass,etc.
Oh yeah there's also rewards for advancing to quest tiers which is really helpful.

İ got lucky looter 5 and went to wasteland. I found 3 level 6 augers plus 2 level 4 augers. also 2 level 6 chainsaws too. As weapons level 6 machine gun, ak , hunting rifle. Totally i spent 3 game days i think.(i am talking about looting not quest rewards)

hmm got it do more quests or beef up the lucky looter which i havent touched yet at lvl 52

I found level 1 auger in first 10 days once but don’t remember exact day or where

My lucky looter level was 1 and i was also wearing googles

Which alpha and what was your level and game stage when you did this?

Loot stage is what matters, its an amalgamation of other things including game stage. Augers wont drop before a certain loot stage is reached, you can see your loot stage on one of the character info tabs. The biggest factor to loot stage is going to be which biome you are in.

Which character info tab? I looked everywhere and do not see anything that says "loot stage" only game stage. Where is the loot stage info?

extended the one in middle with 3 bars loot stage should be near bottom of panle
