acid bottles?

i have searched over 30 sinks and have only found 3 bottles..did they nerf there spawn rate?

I'm in day 109 and only have 25 or so and maybe 8 of them are from buying.:p

They nerfed the spawn rate a lot. There is a new POI. Construction site. It's like any other building but got lots of crates inside and shelves. I found most of the acid in that kind of POI.

Wasteland Treasure Book. There is a book that offers the chance of Acid from Wrenching Cars and Medical Supplies.

This, after you get this book I have gotten Acid from the white medical cabinets 100% of the time so far... granted I've only just gotten the book and maybe hit 3 or 4 of these cabinets but hey.. it's working for those. However I've also busted 20 cars and didn't get any Acid from them soo.. rng?

I found a book that makes it so it's possible to get acid from dismantling cars and medical equipement. I have no idea what the chances are though as I haven't been dismantling a lot since I got it but if it's a good source I'll let you know.

EDIT : nevermind just saw this was mentioned above.

Before you get the acid book, the best luck I had was in construction site boxes. The T3 warehouses have around a dozen of the boxes, usually got at least one bottle per warehouse. After you get the book you'll have tons of acid just from the little first aid cabinets and cars.

Try wrenching the box trucks and buses. I usually get a bottle from those when I do. I think I've gotten exactly 1 from regular cars.

First day, nomad (irrelevant to lootstage), level 2, lootstage < 10, found 2 acid bottles in a T2 POI.
What you want to be looting are not sinks, (iirc they have a lower chance of containing acid) but medical piles (I don't remember the actual name). The're the ones with a pan, and a white bottle beside it. It sorta looks like a small chemistry station.
The game is always changing so you gotta learn where to look for stuff..

But you can often buy one bottle at the trader, bought 3 in the first 30 days
