Lol, yeah it took a bit of messing around for me as well, but they do actually have a handle :P You mean the hatches, right?
Have you done the treasure digging quests in a20 though? I have a bunch of maps stored away, but they remain unappealing at this time... :P
Night time is much more dangerous, but that can also be useful. My little drone informed me of a night time visitor, that turned out to be a wolf. So now I've got more meat then I had before.
Did my first A20 buried supplies quest, and it wasn't that bad.
On the lighter side, I got the chance to make trader Jen dance thanks to A20.
Lol she dances now? :P
You can manually trigger the Twitch Integration dance off command (or other commands) by doing the following:
Hit F1, type in dm, hit F1 again to close the console, hit Shift+F6 to bring up a menu and find one of the dance off commands. There's other stuff too like big head and silly sounds. Turn off dm mode when done playing around. (Note that dance off affects human zombies and traders while big head affects human zombies, traders, and most animals.)
While i was reading this post, my initial reaction was, great use of dev time :P /sarcarsm :P
I'll never forget (the first time) riding back towards my home base I had put over 100 hours in, and watched 1/2 of it collapse as it rendered in. And through continuing to pushing the limits of SI that's not the first time I lost 100+ hours and lots of my stuff.
S**t happens, and it's a game. Lesson learned, move along. That's why I giggle at the rage players when they lose a chest or a bear gets em'.
Yeah, my solution has been to just start from wood, since that actually has obvious indications of placement.
In a19 there was a little oval-shaped hole on the side that had a hinge, but that seems to be gone now, so it's back to guesswork.
The commands are quite popular from what I've seen in various test streams, and there's a little more to them then just looks. While dance off causes zombies to dance, when the music ends they start running like ferals. Big head makes their heads bigger, making them bigger targets, but also causes headshots to do less damage. There's a lot more new Twitch stuff too.
fyi, ALMOST ALL of the maps are in blasted lands. They have had thier loot table adjusted alot from what I've seen, t3 map can have upwards - 10k dukes,t6 items,20ish gems, enough ammo to keep john wayne happy. plus other various stuff...I enjoy them but I was a master carto in uo too so.
