Loading for play is like 5 minutes.

10k maps take about 10 minutes.

14k map takes about 38 minutes. Haven't made a 10k in a bit.

6k map: 3.5 minutes
8k map: 6.5 minutes
10k map: 9.5 minutes
...being a solo player I think I'll stick with the 6k maps. A20 makes some decent ones now. My fave so far has been this one because of the two cities that almost make a single huge city with three lakes near it. Those map generation settings are what I've been using most of the time. I like flatter maps.

Much improved vs. A19 - still hoping KingGen will update for A20 tho.
I have a mid range PC, and am running the game from an SSD, and in A19, game loading usually took only 30-60 secs depending on what mods I was running.
Haven't tried loading that save game yet to see if that makes any difference to the load time. (R/L got in the way of my A20 time dammit!)
