So on average with 2 points in faring you harvest 7 fruits. While seed costs 5.
So you are profiting even with 1 point in farming.
Small field is a problem, one unlucky harvest and you can have a loss.
With 4 fruit back and a 50% chance of a seed, that means you average a net gain of 1.5 fruit per plant.
Yes, ideally you need all 3 points and you're making profit. Every harvest you have enough to craft seeds for the replant even if the 50% didn't proc. And you keep the excess.
Side question: I found mushrooms above ground. Were they always there? Really hard to see. Do we still "plant" them on walls or are they now in a plot like everything else?
For mushroom, you can plant them anywhere, but make sure to plant them in a closed room, they need complete dark to have the best growing speed.
Result gave that not investing in farming means you just plant what you find and investing in farming is better then it was in A19 (due to double yield getting tripled)
I really hate this new BS of it raining everyday in the desert. Whole reason I prefer to live there is because it is not as depressing as other biomes or WAS. Devs have to stop listening to complaints from the vocal few. A16 was fine and most changes since are downhill. Seems this happens with all Alpha games.
