camera moves straight up on its own

when loading into world or closing an item chest and randomly,im playing with a xbox 1controller and havent figured out why its doing this,its very annoying

That does happen to me from time to time but it's usually down to my thumbs on the joysticks. I hold my controller in a way that I might unintentionally move the joysticks or when I'm using a weapon that my fingers hit the L1 or R1 buttons to swap to something else. Basically you just got be aware of how you hold the controller.

i just checked and i made sure my thumbs werent on or near the joysticks,it wont do it if im using keyboard and mouse,but still is doing it when using a controller

That's been a thing for some people a long time. The solution is....unplug your game-pad / controller prior to starting the game. Once loaded in...reconnect.

I practically have the same controller as you do but I connect mine via bluetooth. Had the controller for nearly two years with no issues.

yeah,only happens with this game though,i tried a brand new controller as well,but same thing i tried disconnecting before i play and the connecting when it loads,updating the controller,switching to steam input mode,and disconnecting then reconnecting it does help,but still does it occasionally but oh well,i think its one of those problems that affects very few based on hardware and software configurations,or maybe some just dont notice it as much lol,and may be a random game glitch for some base on those two things
