AI BOT friend 4 noobs.

So it apears there are bots in game files some of you know this some of u dont .... not many info on that thats why i'm doing it. For the noobs yo. Heres what i learned:

So u can spawn one in your camp using console to make your lonely nights less lonely wink wink. They dont serve any purpose juswalk around and atack zombie that comes too close. U can spawn and trap them in your base and play pretend its your friend Giuseppe :) They will atack zombies that will breake in your/ his home. Be careful with friendly fire or they will atack u. Moody ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s.

USE IT ON YOUR OWN RISK (some claim it may or may not corupt the save file- for me it works fine)

it works in your server (if u admin) or in your singleplayer.

1. Hit F1------------------------------ to open console command.
2. Type in "cm" hit enter ---------- creative menu
3. Type in "listplayerids" ---------- this will give u list of ids of all players in game
Lets say your id is 100.
4. type in "spawnentity 100 46"-- this will spawn survivor bot46 to your character position100
5. Type "cm"------------------------- to disable creative menu.
p.s.
If u get No spawn point found try standing in difrent place.

So anyone with knowledge can provide more info on questions:
Can u change Bot weapon?
Can u make him move to difrent location ? or follow?
HOW? Step by step.

My last comment on this thread, most of us are old vets with too many hours played, dev's or techy types, we are quite simply just trying to warn you of the possible consequences of using unfinished assets thats all. Awhile back the hazmat z was placed in and some folks decided to use it on their server, it crashed the server big time, to the point that they had to delete it and restart the whole thing from day one. Now it's upto you what you do, we are all just trying to provide you with info to help you understand what 'may' happen, thats all, hermit out.

Just look through the XMLs it shouldnt be too hard to figure out.

There is already a thread about people working on bandits and modding them to function to a degree.

The info is there if you want it, I dont remember the name but I'm sure you can search and find it.

People are helping you to know whats possible, so if you care you can do it...but dont expect someone to help you step by step mod a broken NPC and if they dont it means they are rude.

Just type dm(debug mode) in the console, then hit F6.... spawn in whatever you want, best thing to spawn in is a melee Bandit and have him fight the horde, he swears the whole time...Spawn a trader in your base, fully functional .. etc

I nolonger requare help I just posted this for other like me who where looking for it in infinite piles of empty posts. Also asked for someone with information to contribute if they can.
So far we get 2 pages of empty gosip. Do u think thats what the forum should be about ? gosip instead of usefull summarized information? Or should we tolerate random infinite piles of usless nonsense just because someones feelings could get hurt? If so then forgive me plz. In my opinion one shoud create gosip topic to gosip about stuff or feelings topic to share his feelings.

2. Why a tread should be delete if it is serving its purpose? (unless nobody needs that then yes plz delete it, i was wrong to think someone is looking.) The second part = coments serve no purpose and i agree they should be deleted and maybe locked if noone is adding anything.

If you would have been less rude, again I am sure you would have been given more help...thats the point.

I guess you wouldnt experience it from the other side with your awful attitude.

For example I would have taken the time to find you the bandit thread and shared more info on it...I am sure as well there are the same people who made that thread looking at this one, and simply ignored it.

As why should they help such an ungrateful rude person?
