Weird metallic noise when I hit things
Hi, I've just started this game to try it out, and every time I hit something, doesn't matter what, a tree, a wall or whatever, I get this weird metallic noise happening, even though it didn't before. Plus, I can't pick up rocks to repair my stone axe. Is this a bug?

Sounds like the noise it makes when things are within the traders zone of invulnerability. If you are next to a trader move somewhere else, if not, well hopefully somebody else knows whats going on.

If you are playing single player, then all you should need to do is make sure you are 10 or so blocks from the outer wall of the trader. If you are already away from the trader, then something is certainly very wrong. I don't know of any parameters that disallow interaction with an entire map, so at that point I would uninstall and reinstall.

If you are playing multiplayer and not allied with your group, you may get that sound if you try to do things within the range of a land claim block. In this case, you have to get a distance from the base (40 blocks by default).

Can confirm, I hadn't allied with my friend despite being in a party. He had a land block claim down. Once we allied it went away, thanks =JpS=Red5
