even with full packmule it seem your inventory still limited i know we have car storage but it be nice to add in back packs like in state of decay 2 6 to 8 more slots when your halfway clearing a building would help

I think you are already wearing a backpack by default. That's why you can carry many weapons, many tools, stacks of ammo, food, water, bandages, and a bunch of loot on top of that all at the same time. The inventory is fine.

Use storage crates when clearing a poi. And scrap what you don't need right away.

Or use a mod.

you have pocket mods/cargo pockets to add to shirt/pants/jacket to add +1/+2 for a total of +3/+6 freed inventory slots.

You can also add single/double/triple pocket mods to armor to free up potentially 15 more slots.

I'd love to see the Bandoleer add a few ammo dedicated slots rather than reload speed.

ditto!

Also, if using a pocket mod on all clothing and a triple pocket mod in all your armor, you won't need to put any points into 'pack mule.' I think I may have put one point in which allowed me to free up a mod space on one of my armors....to compensate for helmet light mod. Beside's, seems pretty odd to have storage pockets on a helmet, lol.

Soldiers in Vietnam carried items on their helmets...

Yup. A military helmet is pretty deep so there is already a small pocket inside it. And a strap around that can have very small stuff attached to it. But i wouldn't put 3 tons of stones inside it.....

You mean the same blocks we put in our backpacks? Say it ain't so!

We already have backpacks. When you die, did you notice backback hanging on your compass showing you where to return for loot? As for remaining blocks - You can use add-ons which you can put into : Helmets, Chests and Legs. The addon is called Double/Triple Storage Pocket.

yes their are clothing add ons but i have full pack mule trait so think the clothing add ons wont work and i wana play without mods but guess it mods or nothing

We don't mean 'mods' as in modding the game. Your equipment and clothing has "Mod" slots you can put items into. For clothes...you can put in the pocket mod item. For armor.... you can put the single, double, or triple pocket mod item into them. As I said, I've put triple pocket mods into all my armor gear and the regular pocket mod into all my clothing items which gave me max inventory space without having to put any points into 'Pack Mule.'

Since you already wasted points into pack mule.....you could reset your points using the elixer or just roll with it and use the extra mod slots in gear for other mod items.....like armor plates for example.

Interesting.. I never EVER take points in Pack Mule and always get full backpack opened by level 40ish just by finding the schematics or finding the actual mods. Not understanding this issue at all.

The issue is people either want an infinite backpack or no encumbrance at all from day 1.

There are too many ways to increase backpack space. There is no reason to ever HAVE to spend 1 point on Pack Mule. Pocket mods and Armor mods have the potential to open EVERY slot.
