Tips for breaking stone/concrete?
I'm trying to break down some stone walls in my base to rebuild and I get maybe 5-6 swings of my pick before I'm exhausted, and the whole process is going to take ages. Is there a trick to getting better stamina efficiency for using tools? Or maybe a tool that's really good for breaking stone blocks? I read the chainsaw/augur are the best for demolitions, but I don't have those yet.

Sex rex. Steel pick. Mods.

That's pretty much it.

Miner 69r will also help. And coffee.

Didn't realize sex rex applied to tools. That'll help. I don't have a steel pick yet either, so it's just the iron pick, coffee, and whatever perks I can grab that help.

Seftak and Seven mentioned the two perks that help the most.

Consider taking off armor unless it is padded armor as it slows stamina regen.
Ergonomic grip mod if you can get one.

Do it at night, when you dont have much else to do.

Undercut the area you are trying to remove if it large enough.
If s = stone wall Remove the X blocks and have it collapse.

I think Sex Rex was the one I was missing, since that alone seems to be making a big difference.

Now if only I could figure out which way the 5x3 garage door needs to face.

It takes quite a bit practice (so you don't wreck stuff or kill yourself), but Dynamite can make renovations quite fast. Dynamite does about 3k to adjacent blocks, less to blocks up to 5 away, and it doesn't seem to penetrate blocks very much. It's possible to quickly place some wood frames to defend the stuff you don't want destroyed, but you'll still want to practice beforehand.

No one mentioned it, but... for the time you're actually doing the demolition, turn your PLAYER BLOCK DAMAGE up to 300%. It will save your sanity.

A side note: if you're in your own game and dont mind using a cheat you can open the creative menu and turn o ndev tools. Then find the gun that 1 shots pieces and just use that to help. Up to you how you wanna do it :)

type dev in the search box and itll just show the dev tool weapons

Doesn't he land claim block give you a bonus on damage to blocks within? Or is that a skill book?

Not that I've noticed.
